We are BACK!!! Capitol Moms Dallas Launches on July 1.

If you notice the blog dates, you already know that there has been a serious lag in blog posts from Capitol Moms

Chalk that up to life throwing us a curve ball and making the game just a little different than before, but isn't that the constant state of motherhood -- one adventure after another, filled with memories, experiences and take worthy lessons.  As time progresses, I'll share some of the journey and others you'll figure out along the way, but for now, I happily look forward to the re-launch coming July 1, 2012.

:)

In the meantime, you can check out where I've been -  online as Dallas City Editor at Miss A - Dallas and on my personal blog at Happiest of Adventures

Tips and Sweepstakes via DC Scout

I am a skimmer. I read online and hard copy newspapers, magazines, e-zines and the like. I have a particular love of fashion, food and family activities, hence the content of this blog.

One of my favorite, quick reads on Tuesday and Thursday are The Washington Post's DC Scout. It is a great way to keep caught up on the local sales, events and fashion related happenings in the city and on the web, like the $500 Sweepstakes from James Perse, via StyleMaven.

Date night: Resturaunt Week is coming to DC and Bethesda

Three reasons why you should take part of this DC area tradition

1) It's an excuse to go out to a nice restaurant.
2) You and the hubby need some adult time.
3) You get to eat really good food and get all dolled up.

With more than 200 dining establishments participating, you are bound to find a new favorite.
